An Evening Under the Stars at Pittock Mansion A Gala for The Arc of Multnomah-Clackamas On June 17th, 2006 The Arc held their 4th Annual Gala at the beautiful Pittock Mansion. The 'Evening Under the Stars' Garden Party was attended by 200 people, with musical entertainment by the international singer, Julianne R. Johnson, magic acts by Tim Alexander, finger food provided by Food In Bloom, and wine donated by WillaKenzie Estates. A silent auction of 60 items entertained most of the guests, as they toured the Mansion in search of the "perfect item". Each floor of the Mansion held auction items, allowing guests to view the Mansion and bid on their favorite items. The Master of Ceremony was Mr. Lynn Huston, Reporter, KOIN-TV (Channel 6), who provided the introductions, auction instructions, and general commentary of evening events. This major fundraiser for The Arc has been held in February on Valentine's Day, however, this year the event was moved to the summer months to allow for an outdoor Garden Party and beautiful views of the City. Mark your calendar for another fabulous Gala in 2007. |
